Due to the production of different varieties, management system, different crystallizer manufacturers of crystal parts scrap standards are not the same. Usually the amount of steel used to calibrate the service life of the crystal parts, the service life of the judgment is mainly based on two important parameters, namely, inverted taper and wear, and in fact, these two parameters are also mutual influence.
In order to eliminate or reduce the influence of the air gap, the inner cavity of the crystal fitting should be designed with a certain degree of reverse taper according to the different shrinkage characteristics of the steel type and the thermal deformation degree of the copper plate. The selection of the inverted taper of the crystal fittings should follow the following principles: the solidification shrinkage characteristics of the steel type, the shape of the inner cavity should be adapted to the actual shape of the inner solidified shell to the greatest extent, so as to minimize the thickness of the air gap in the whole crystal fittings, improve the heat transfer effect, and ensure the uniformity of the thickness of the inner shell and the thickness of the lower shell. After the copper pipe is used, if the maintenance span cannot repair the inverted taper to the standard range required by the steel plant, the service life of the crystal parts can be prolonged.
At the same time, in order to ensure the working effect, during the working process of the continuous casting mold, no personnel shall stay near the turntable. It is strictly prohibited to light a fire for heating in each control room, eat, smoke, slapstick, and it is strictly prohibited to put feet, sit on the control table of each control room, pile up articles, especially tea cups, and read books, newspapers and magazines during operation.
